Alpha Flying has an open position for an IT Manager. The IT Manager is responsible for the overall functionality, maintenance and performance of the technology department to meet the goals and objectives of the company. The technology department supports a 200+ user Windows 2003 network with point to point connections between two locations in the Pease Tradeport in Portsmouth.In addition to handling daily support issues, the IT Manager position provides leadership input into technology decisions and needs assessment including training, user policies, purchasing, upgrades, and new software evaluation. The IT Manager is expected to maintain up-to-date knowledge of general technology trends and identify and evaluate new technology relevant to the organization operations.
